What items cannot be placed in a dumpster?
There are certain items that the dump will not accept. If these items are found in the dumpster our driver is tasked with disposing of them in the appropriate way. The fee for these items varies depending on the item and how difficult and/or dangerous it is to dispose of said item.

- Vehicle batteries
- Roofing shingles (unless pre approved)
- Household appliances such as but not limited to hot water heaters, dishwashers, refrigerators, conventional ovens, microwave ovens, washers, and dryers
- Rock, ash, concrete, asphalt or dirt
The following items are more difficult and/or dangerous to dispose of and will result in higher fines:

- Cans, drums, or other containers of any kind (unless emptied and crushed and incapable of carrying any liquid)
- Medical waste or biohazard items
- Asbestos
- Paint (in liquid form)
- Animal carcasses
- Tree trimmings, dirt and other yard waste
- Ammunition or explosives of any kind

Is there a wrong way to fill a dumpster?
Please do your best to disperse the weight evenly throughout the dumpster.
Make sure that all items are within the confines of the dumpster, not exceeding the sides or the top.
Do NOT use machinery to compact items into the dumpster or to drop heavy items into the dumpster.
Make sure that the tarp provided on the dumpster is able to be pulled over the top without any sharp objects restricting closure or ripping the tarp.
My dumpster is full but I have more junk, what do I do?
We offer a dump and return service. This is based on availability and the price varies by location, so give us a call for details!
Is it ok to put roofing shingles in a dumpster?
Yes! Let us know at booking and we will be sure to rent you a dumpster that can accommodate the weight of your roofing shingles. Also, please be sure you do not put any other trash, etc, in the dumpster with the shingles.
Can you place the dumpster in my yard?
No, all dumpsters must be placed on concrete, asphalt, or gravel. Placing a dumpster in a yard can result in our vehicle or the dumpster becoming stuck. This will result in recovery fees and damage to your yard.
Do all dumpsters have a door?
Yes, all of our dumpsters have doors.
Does the price include everything?
Yes, your rate includes drop off, pickup, and one dump up to 4,000 or 5,000 lbs. depending on the size dumpster you choose.
What if my dumpster is overweight?
If you go a little over the amount of weight included in your rental, don’t worry, it happens! The rate for additional weight is $25 per 500 pounds.
If the dumpster is extremely overweight our number one concern is safety. If the dumpster is too heavy/overloaded, we cannot pull the dumpster without risking the safety of our driver and the others on the road with him. If you are concerned about the amount of weight in your dumpster, feel free to give us a call or click here for more information!
