A little preparation can make dumpster delivery easier. Before your Little Egypt rental arrives, take a few minutes to check the placement area, plan your load, and make sure everyone working on the project knows the rules.
1. Choose a suitable placement area
Little Egypt places dumpsters on concrete, asphalt, or gravel. A lawn or soft ground can create access and recovery problems. If you are unsure about the surface or location, contact the team before delivery rather than assuming a spot will work.
2. Clear the route
Move vehicles and other obstructions out of the delivery route and keep the placement area accessible. Think ahead to pickup too: the driver needs clear access when the rental ends.
3. Check what you plan to discard
Some materials cannot go in the dumpster, and others require advance approval. Roofing shingles need pre-approval and must not be mixed with other trash. Discuss heavy materials such as concrete, rock, or dirt with the team before booking.
Use our rental FAQs and rental agreement to review the restrictions before you start loading.
4. Plan for both space and weight
A dumpster can reach its weight allowance before it looks full. Compare the 13-, 17-, and 20-yard options and explain your project if you need help choosing. Keep everything inside the dumpster sides and below the top rails.
5. Keep your pickup date in mind
Need more time? Request an extension at least 24 hours before scheduled pickup. Extra days depend on availability and carry a fee based on dumpster size.
Payment for the rental is due in full at booking. Check pricing and availability for your delivery address, and call or text if you have a question before reserving.
